Supply Chain Innovation & Resilience

The Supply Chain Innovation & Resilience team concentrates on enhancing the sustainability and efficiency of supply chain (SC) networks through Renewable Energy Integration in Supply Chains, Energy Efficiency and Optimization in SC Operations, Demand and Supply Management, and Multi-Criteria Policy Making.

By integrating renewable energy sources into SCs, the team aims to reduce carbon footprints and foster environmental stewardship within logistics and transportation networks. Efforts in energy efficiency and optimization seek to streamline operations, reducing waste and maximizing resource use throughout the supply chain. Demand and Supply Management is pivotal in aligning production with consumer needs, enhancing responsiveness, and reducing excess inventory. Multi-Criteria Policy Making involves developing frameworks that balance economic, environmental, and social objectives, ensuring that supply chain decisions contribute to sustainable development goals. This holistic approach is designed to build resilient, efficient, and sustainable supply chains capable of facing contemporary challenges and future demands.
